1. Overview

StockTagger ("we", "our", "us") is developed and operated by Molostock Co., Ltd. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our macOS application and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Apple, we only receive an anonymous user identifier (sub) provided by Apple. We generate a virtual email (e.g., [email protected]) for account identification. We do not collect your real email, Apple ID password, or any personal account information.

Usage Data

We only record your credit balance and consumption records (including filename and generation method) for service billing purposes. Consumption records are automatically deleted after 90 days. We do not collect any analytics, browsing behavior, or app usage patterns.

Image Data

We do not collect or store any image data. When generating keywords, a resized thumbnail (max 512px, JPEG compressed) is temporarily sent to our AI service for real-time processing and immediately discarded afterward. Original images never leave your Mac.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not collect, upload, or store your original image files
  • We do not track your browsing behavior or app usage patterns
  • We do not collect device identifiers or analytics
  • We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing
  • We do not use cookies or tracking pixels in our app

4. Data Storage

Your account data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database) with built-in encryption at rest. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. Your metadata edits are stored locally on your Mac using SQLite and are never uploaded to our servers.

5. AI Processing

Image thumbnails are sent to our AI processing service to generate keywords. The AI service processes the thumbnail in real-time and returns text results. Thumbnails are not stored after processing. We use the image data solely for the purpose of generating metadata as requested by you.

6. In-App Purchases

Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. We do not receive your credit card information or payment details. We only receive a transaction confirmation from Apple to credit your account.

7. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained until account deletion is requested
  • Deduction records: Automatically deleted after 90 days
  • Image thumbnails: Not stored — processed in real-time only
  • Local metadata: Stored on your Mac only, under your control

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for data processing
  • Export your data in a portable format

9. Children's Privacy

StockTagger is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
